About the Web-Mistress
Every website needs a conceited part.
Hello there. I thought I'd write about myself not because I think I'm super interesting but because it's always nice to know more about a webowner.
My name's Lilly. It used to be a rare name but now it seems like it's every other chick's name too, whether it's spelt my way or not. But oh well. It's a traditional name that represents both beauty and death, so it fits me quite nicely. I wouldn't have any other name.
I'm a female inhabitant of the east coast of the United States. The U.S. isn't my favourite country - its history and current social order makes me want to tear a
very large tree apart - but I could live in a place a lot worse than here. I'd like to travel more when I get older, especially in Europe; I'd possibly like to
live there, too. And I'd also like to help out those who do live in places much worse than here.
I'm currently 17 and I feel ancient and unaccomplished. I'm in my last year of high school and I really can't wait for college. There's a lot that I'd like to learn and a lot I'd like to move away from. I'd eventually like to end up with at least one Bachelor's and possibly a Master's. And as a profession, I really just want to be a housewife and mother. With a Master's.
In my spare time, I usually like to do artistic things like design, read, write, code, and listen to music. And eat, and that can get quite artistic sometimes. But I'm
more of a patron of the arts than an artist myself, as you can probably see from my failed attempts at creativity. I love being with nature and in old places; I
love animals and going out with friends and the like, just having fun. I also like fanlistings, so you can check out my
collective if you'd like to see more of what I'm interested in.
I'm pretty nice but very shy and introverted, so sometimes I can come off as being uninterested, which is actually pretty true. And I'm also pretty cynical and distrusting. So, sorry if I'm not the extroverted party girl you might have expected; I'm rarely the girl who talks to people at all, actually. It takes quite a while and quite a bit of effort to get all up in my... inner circle. (But don't feel too bad; I'm an annoying personality bummer anyway :3)
